Outdoor Lighting of Colorado was founded by Milton and Matias Vargas, two Chilean brothers who have made Colorado, USA, their home. Rooted in strong family values, we prioritize being good human beings above all else. MILTON VARGAS

I have been passionate about designing and creating charming ambiances and unique spaces by using light and raw materials from nature since a was a kid. What started as a great hobby later became a main interest and I decided to become part of the Outdoor Lighting Industry by starting OLC in Colorado.
I have been particularly fortunate to have been trained by Steve Riggs, nationally recognized, award winning designer with more than 25 years of experience in the Outdoor Lighting Industry. Later, I became the apprentice of my great longtime friend Donald Ramunno, nationally recognized outdoor lighting designer with also many years of experience.
This training along with combined experience of 20 years in the fields of Property Management, Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality and Landscape Lighting has given me the tools to thrive and be able to understand my clients needs and expectations. I would be honored for the opportunity to gain your trust and to keep serving you and the community.

MATIAS VARGAS

Hi, I’m one of the founding members of our company and have a tremendous passion for outdoor accent lights. I believe that accent lighting creatively transforms spaces by adding depth and warmth. Growing up, I always had accent lights in my room. Professionally, I’ve spent many years overseeing employees and designing and implementing business strategies. I have worked in the bicycle industry as an Operations Manager for Commencal bicycles, and in the aluminum and flooring industry as a Strategic Account Manager. These experiences have honed my communication skills, attention to detail, and effectiveness.
Outside the office, I mainly spend my time playing guitar, riding dirt and mountain bikes, and of course, enjoying some amazing food! One of my biggest passions is the pursuit of health, self-development, and continuous learning. I also have a keen interest in real estate and strive to stay informed about market trends and investment opportunities.
My dynamic approach to both my professional and personal life makes me a cornerstone of the company’s vision, adaptability, and success.
